A while ago, after a very stressful time in the DRC, I decided to take some time off at the heart of the Mangrove Park of Moanda & visited  Kimuabi, Bulambemba &  Kimongo Wolo islands and continued to the floating village of Kizunga Manianga, Nteva Malela, Katala. 

Most of the islands are occupied by Assolongo who mainly fish in clams and cossas and then litter the ground with the shells making it look like a carpet of shells. It was one of the most beautiful place I have seen so far.
